Pregnancy Privacy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Why privacy matters here

Trying-to-conceive, pregnancy and newborn records can reveal intimate health, family and timing information. A pregnancy app should explain its boundaries in ordinary language, not hide them only in long legal text.

Dream2Birth treats privacy as part of the product experience: private notes, partner sharing, scan records and support requests should all have clear limits.

Good privacy signals

  • A visible privacy policy before sign-in.
  • No sale of pregnancy, TTC or Baby Days data.
  • No use of pregnancy data for third-party advertising.
  • Clear account deletion and support paths.
  • Reminders not to send private medical text, passwords or auth links in support requests.

Partner boundary

Partner support should make practical care easier without turning private tracking into surveillance. Sensitive notes, symptoms, scan details and personal records need explicit sharing choices.
