Dream2Birth guide
Newborn Days
A gentle guide to keeping feeds, sleep, nappies, recovery questions and family routines organised in the first newborn days.

Keep the first days simple
Newborn days are often full, tender and disorienting. A simple private log can make feeds, sleep, nappies, recovery questions and practical handoffs easier to remember without turning ordinary variation into a performance measure.
Dream2Birth Baby Days carries a familiar family rhythm forward after birth instead of making families start again in a separate app.
Useful handoffs
- What happened most recently and what may be next.
- A short feed, nappy or sleep note to read back when it is useful for the family or care team.
- Recovery or care questions to raise with a midwife, GP or child health nurse.
- Practical partner tasks that reduce the mental load.
- Private memories and logs that remain with the account holder.
Safety remains with care
A newborn log is not clinical monitoring. If feeding, nappies, temperature, breathing, colour, alertness or parent recovery feels worrying, contact a qualified care provider or emergency service.
