Kick Count Notes

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Movement notes are context

Some families are asked to pay attention to baby movement patterns later in pregnancy. Notes can help describe what changed, when it changed and what the family noticed.

Dream2Birth movement notes should support care conversations, not reassure users to ignore a concern.

What to record

  • The time you noticed movement or a change in pattern.
  • What felt normal or different for you.
  • Any care team instructions you were given.
  • Questions to ask a midwife, GP, obstetrician or maternity unit.

When to get help

If movements feel reduced, unusual or worrying, follow local care team advice and contact a maternity unit or qualified provider promptly. Do not wait for an app to decide for you.
